All the Things I want to Do (with the hubby) during the Christmas holiday:
Make A Gingerbread House
I’ve never made a gingerbread house before so this will be my very first one ever! I got a kit from Magasin (department store.) My only question is, should I get another kit for Nick and do I have to buy extra candy?
Paint ceramic bisque Christmas village houses
When I was a kid I loved painting Christmas houses. I spent hours and enjoyed every minute! It’s sad that they are difficult to find both in Europe and the U.S. But Etsy.com has a lot in the U.S. and a few in Europe that you can order.
Read ‘A Christmas Carol’ by Charles Dickens
My favorite ‘Instagram Influencer’ has a tradition of re-reading ‘A Christmas Carol’ every year. I think this is a great idea to put you into the Christmas spirit.
Watch one of Martha Stewart’s Christmas Specials
I promise you, this will be a Christmas highlight. Nick and I watched Martha’s first Christmas Special last year and were on the ground laughing. The brown paper bag with the bow was epic and had to be a joke. This is such a fun tradition. We love Martha and her projects.
Go to Church
We always go to Midnight Mass. I miss my old church back in the USA because they had a live Nativity play complete with farm animals.
Bake
This year I want to make sugar cookies and cinnamon buns!
Photoshoot and Annual Christmas Video with the Hubbie
Ahhh so pretty! I love taking Christmas photos! (not us in the photo) If you go to youtube, you can see Nick and I’s yearly Christmas videos on thefemininefix channel.
Watch Hallmark/GAC Christmas Movies while trying to make a live garland
I’ve never made a garland either, so this is the perfect time to try!
Go for romantic walks in the forest with the hubby
We don’t have a dog, but we do have a cat who loves walks in the snow. Don’t forget the thermos of hot apple cider!
